Star Wars Episode IV
Star Wars, which was later renamed Star Wars Episode IV first came out in cinemas in America in 1977.
It was 121 minutes of sci fi gold. Of course I saw it many, many years later in my university dorm room and it has been my favourite of the films ever since.
My favourite character has to be Princess Leia, and I loved her return to the series in the most recent films. On a total side note I highly recommend you read her book The Princess Diarist
